Besides national programs, Shizuoka Prefecture runs its own subsidies for companies based there. These are the main ones for digital investment (fiscal 2026, per the prefecture's official overview).
中小企業等収益力向上（賃上げ環境整備）事業費補助金
For SMEs with their main office in Shizuoka that run a new project to raise value added.
- 通常枠 (standard): 1/2 of costs, up to ¥5M; with wage increases, 2/3 up to ¥7M.
- DX枠 (DX track): for projects using AI, ICT, IoT, big data or RPA. 1/2 up to ¥7M; with wage increases, 2/3 up to ¥10M.
- In 2026 there were two rounds, 1 Apr–15 May and 1–30 Jun, both closed. Applications go through Jグランツ, which needs a GビズIDプライム account (can take weeks).
- Under the prefecture's rules, projects need ongoing support (伴走支援) from a chamber of commerce, 商工会 or bank.
小規模企業経営力向上支援事業費補助金
For small businesses: 2/3 of costs, up to ¥500,000. The 2026 overview planned rounds in March and May.
Free help
The 静岡県よろず支援拠点 offers free business consulting with no limit on sessions, including in Hamamatsu. Your local 商工会 (in Kosai, the 湖西市商工会) can also guide you.
