1. Signing or paying before the 交付決定
Mistake number one. In the IT program, any contract, order or payment before the grant decision, even partial, means you lose the subsidy. Getting quotes is fine; closing the deal is not.
2. Leaving GビズIDプライム to the last minute
By mail it takes about 2 weeks. No account, no application.
3. Forgetting SECURITY ACTION
Mandatory for the IT program. The ID is issued quickly now, but it must be done first.
4. Applying for a website alone under the 持続化補助金
Website costs can be at most 1/4 of the grant and cannot be the only expense.
5. Missing the 商工会 deadline
For the 持続化補助金, the 商工会/商工会議所 document (様式4) has a deadline before applications close.
6. Choosing a tool for the subsidy, not the need
A system nobody uses is still a loss, even at half price.
7. Not keeping records
Quote, order, delivery, invoice and payment: without the full paper trail, the cost is rejected.
8. Forgetting post-grant duties
Programs require reports after implementation. Missing them can mean repayment.
