The 通常枠 (normal track) of the デジタル化・AI導入補助金2026 is the route for replacing spreadsheets with a sales, inventory, accounting or HR system.
Amounts and rate (2026 call)
- Software with 1–3 processes: ¥50,000 to under ¥1.5 million.
- Software with 4+ processes: ¥1.5 million to ¥4.5 million.
- Rate: 1/2, raised to 2/3 if for 3+ months between Oct 2024 and Sep 2025, 30%+ of staff were paid below the regional minimum wage revised in 2025.

"Generic" tools (automation or analytics not tied to a business process) cannot be requested on their own.

Software licenses, cloud fees for up to 2 years, extensions, data integration, security, implementation consulting, setup, training and support. Hardware is not covered in this track.
Example
A shop spending ¥1 million on a sales and inventory system with setup could receive up to ¥500,000 (1/2), if approved.
