In 2026 the well-known IT導入補助金 got a new name: デジタル化・AI導入補助金2026. It still pays part of the cost of software, cloud services and security tools for SMEs. Figures below come from the 2026 call on the official site.

There is also an e-transaction type (電子取引類型) and a multi-company track (複数者連携).
What is covered
Software, cloud usage (up to 2 years), plus implementation consulting, setup, training and support tied to the tool. Under the invoice track, PCs/tablets (up to ¥100k) and cash registers (up to ¥200k) at 1/2.
How applying works
- The tool must be registered and you apply jointly with a registered IT導入支援事業者.
- Required for everyone: GビズIDプライム and the SECURITY ACTION self-declaration.
- Nothing may be signed or paid before the 交付決定 (grant decision).
