Choosing the wrong IT support company is expensive: unanswered tickets, long contracts and poorly protected data. This checklist helps you compare providers using clear criteria.
1. Service and response time
- What are the support hours?
- Is there emergency support outside those hours?
- Is support remote, on-site or both?
2. Languages
If your team includes foreign staff, check that the provider can help in each person's language. Misunderstood explanations turn into mistakes and security risks.
3. Security and backup
- Does the provider offer a security assessment?
- Does it set up and monitor backups?
- Does it enable two-step verification and keep updates current?
4. Contract and transparency
- Are prices published, or only "on request"?
- Is there a setup fee, minimum term or cancellation fee?
- Who keeps the passwords, domain and documentation? They should belong to your company.
5. Communication
Ask them to explain a simple solution. If you don't understand, the problem isn't you. A good provider speaks clearly and uses the channels your team uses, such as LINE or WhatsApp.
Questions to ask before signing
- What is included in the monthly fee?
- How long does it take to respond to an urgent problem?
- How do you protect our data?
- What happens if we want to end the contract?
